Christie Freeman
Equipment, Mat, Pre/Postnatal, Personal Training

100000028_mobileChristie Freeman, owner and director of HHF/PP, first discovered Pilates in   college where she received a BFA in dance from California State University,    Long Beach. After taking a course in Pilates while in college, Christie worked part-time in the dance department’s physical therapy room which was equipped with a cadillac, wunda chair, and reformers. This is where she realized the true benefits of a daily Pilates practice and how much Pilates can help the body. Christie suffered from chronic back, shoulder, and neck pain due to a car accident; during her time in this therapy room she was able to focus her attention on herself and see the amazing results that can be achieved with a little dedication and the Pilates practice.

Christie received her Pilates mat and equipment certification from The Kane School of Core Integration in New York. Christie has attended additional workshops to continue her Pilates training; Pilates through Pregnancy with Debbi Goodman, MSPT, Pre and Post Natal Specialist Pilates Certification with Carolyne Anthony, Kinesthetic Anatomy and Biomechanics of Motion: Spine/Trunk with Irene Dowd, Relax your Neck – Liberate your Shoulders with Eric Franklin, Hip and Knee injuries with Mark Klion/MD and the FAMI intensive taught at Mount Sinai, and is a licensed instructor of Pilates for Buff Bones® .

Christie hopes that all will love the way they feel as much as she does after an invigorating Pilates session whether it is for fitness, injury prevention, or recovery. Pilates works!

Kristin Condon
Equipment, Mat, Personal Training

condon_kristin_2_xret-1-1Kristin Condon has been a mover since she could walk. Her first encounter with Pilates was at Boston Ballet, and she fell in love. She later went on to be featured in fitness videos and shows while she maintained a dance career and eventually decided to start teaching herself. Trained through STOTT, her first job was with a physical therapist in Beverly Hills, then a sports club and finally she ran a small business of high profile private clients in Los Feliz for almost a decade. After many years as a student of yoga, and her teacher’s urging, she received her 200- hour Yoga Alliance training. She has taught Movement at the University of Michigan and currently works as a Fitness Technician with the internet show Daily Burn as well as contributes to publications. Kristin likes to incorporate her studies in performance as well and prioritizes breath, presence, awareness and alignment in all of her classes. She believes that fitness is not simply about working your muscles, but about taking the time to deeply appreciate the body. It’s about how we think and care for ourselves that makes the largest difference in our health and wellbeing. Kristin continues to perform and work as an actor, dancer, choreographer, narrator, writer and beyond, but teaching has always held a special place in her heart.
